The
"Math and Science Toolkit" CD-ROM
From
The Lopez Foundation
Our current project is to help provide this
CD-ROM to students (grades 5 through 12)
who can use additional help with math and
science. In addition to Number Sense
(multiplication skills; over 17,000 problems,
"learn, practice, and test" modes; most
efficient and significant figures answer
formats), physics projectile motion (teaching
and graphing), balancing chemistry equations
(teaching), graphing, fractions (teaching),
polynomials (graphing), quadratics (teaching)
and a general purpose math calculator, there
are over 500 math and science programs and
resources pre-downloaded from the internet,
and over 1,000 internet links to math, science
and other academic resources.
We believe that this CD-ROM will help the
student think and perform at a higher level
in math and science, and will be used by
the student for years. The software
runs on Windows (95 and higher), and Mac
(runs under "Virtual PC")
