Reporting Child Pornography
BIG hates kiddy porn and
anything involving the exploitation of children. So we put
together some information on how to report people who are
abusing children, and using, or trading, child pornography
(yuck sicko’s).
First, it is important
to understand what child pornography is. Child pornography
is a visual depiction of anyone under 18 years of age, engaged
in sexually explicit conduct. A good site to find information
is
APCO. They have pages on legal information, including
a Definition of Child Pornography.
If you think you have seen
child pornography on BIG, you should do two things:
You should contact us,
preferably by emailing us at
Removesmut@bigboulder.net, so we can remove any actual
child pornography links or any porn links. Please include
a full URL to the post, , so that we can quickly find it
and deal with it.
Also, you should
report any URL where the child pornography is hosted.
We
support the work of the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
where you should go to
Report Child Pornography
If you
find any site such as these report them to the proper authorities.
Sincerely
publisher
