• Cinderella Battery-Powered Toy Cars Recalled by Dumar International USA Due to Fire and Burn Hazards (Tue, 19 Feb 2008 14:00:00 GMT) The wires under the hood of the car and/or in the battery compartment under the seat can short circuit, posing a fire and burn hazard to children riding in the car.
• Mission City Press Recalls Girl's Bracelet Sets Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard (Thu, 14 Feb 2008 17:15:00 GMT) Surface paint on the pearl white beads of the bracelet, contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
• Bassettbaby Drop-Side Cribs Recalled Due to Entrapment and Strangulation Hazard (Thu, 14 Feb 2008 17:15:00 GMT) Spindles on the drop-side of the crib could loosen creating a gap that poses an entrapment and strangulation hazard.
• Polaris Industries Expands Recall of ATVs Due to Fire Hazard (Thu, 14 Feb 2008 14:15:00 GMT) The ATVs can have defective Electronic Control Modules (ECM) that overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to riders.

• Remote-Controlled Helicopter Toys Recalled By Soft Air USA Due to Fire and Burn Hazards (Tue, 12 Feb 2008 13:00:00 GMT) The rechargeable battery contained inside the helicopter can catch fire during charging, igniting the helicopter and nearby combustible materials. This poses a burn or fire hazard to consumers.
• Consumer Alert: Fire Hazard with Remote-Controlled Helicopters and Airplanes (Tue, 12 Feb 2008 13:00:00 GMT) Playing with remote-controlled helicopters and airplanes can be fun, but the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is concerned about an emerging fire hazard from the battery technology being used with these toys.
