Physical Therapy
Boulder Business
BoulderBodyworks welcomes our newest addition to
the staff, Physical Therapist Rhonda Bellavia, MSPT.
Rhonda brings extensive hands-on experience having
served on the staff of Boulder Community Hospital for 14
years where she specialized in Post-Surgical and
Orthopedic Rehabilitation. She earned her Masters Degree
in Physical Therapy from Regis University, and received
her Bachelor of Science in Education at Cortland State
University where she majored in Teaching and Coaching,
and minored in Sports Medicine.
Rhonda is certified in Muscle Activation Technique
(MAT), a hands-on treatment that both identifies and
corrects muscular imbalances that contribute to chronic
pain and injury. She is also certified in Functional
Capacity Exams (FCE), which is a method for determining
Functional Abilities and Limitations within work
environments and daily activities to facilitate optimal
biomechanics and posture.
As the Supervising Physical Therapist at
BoulderBodyworks, Rhonda will combine her hands-on
skills with her knowledge in exercise, sports and
orthopedic medicine to create and/or support your unique
rehabilitation or wellness program. You, Rhonda and the
team of therapists at BoulderBodyworks will establish a
plan of action to meet your goals and help you along the
path to a Healthy Vibrant Lifestyle.
At BoulderBodyworks we work together to reach the

musculoskeletal injuries. We take pride in our
comprehensive clinical evaluations and collective
skill-set, knowledge of current therapeutic procedures,
personalized patient care and thorough communication

are instantly placed at ease in a warm, competent,
caring and productive environment.
Physical Therapy Services
From the first time a patient meets with the staff of
BoulderBodyworks, they notice the difference in our
comprehensive, polished approach.
Initial Consultation
We begin with a one-hour comprehensive evaluation for
all patients, taking a complete medical history followed
by a detailed physical examination. After the
examination, we educate the patient on the findings and
explain the diagnosis. We then outline the physical
therapy treatment plan.
Follow Up Visit
Follow-up visits are one hour long. We constantly
reassess each patient to ensure proper progression of
the program. Our therapists use a variety of treatment
methods to achieve maximal rehabilitative outcomes,
including manual therapies (soft tissue mobilization,
massage, joint mobilization), therapeutic exercise,
neuromuscular reeducation exercises, and sport-specific
training.
Discharge
Upon discharge from therapy, patients are put on
independent exercise programs, which can be completed at
home, at gym or at BoulderBodyworks.
